Mō te tūnga | About the role
This Cook role will form part of our retail cookery team are responsible for ensuring that the needs of each are met to the highest standard. Following standardised recipes and using creative flair to present food that we can be proud of. Of course, the role also includes general kitchen duties such as ensuring stock rotation, cleaning dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.
This role is a casual role, so exact hours will be discussed at interview stage. Adaptability is essential as the successful candidate will be required to work varying days/hours.

In this position you will be responsible for carrying out the general café and cleaning duties which will include washing dishes, preparing and presenting food. You will provide great customer service to our tūroro (patients) and their whānau along with the responsibility of cash handling.
Skills required for this role:
- Hard working team player
- Reliable with good time management
- Flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Able to communicate effectively
- Previous experience in a similar environment would be advantageous
